Internships:

Africa Legal Aid (AFLA) offers unpaid internships all round the year to highly motivated students and young professionals from all over the globe to work at our headquarters in Accra, Ghana. While interns are exposed to a variety of different opportunities and experiences, they have a primary responsibility to carry out research on topics of interest to AFLA or as prescribed by the assigned supervisor, and to update AFLA’s website.

However, depending on AFLA’s priorities of the day and the intern’s demonstrated capabilities, some interns may assist with special projects in addition to their other responsibilities, which tasks can include drafting memoranda, plans of action, making recommendations for the website and assist with the on-going International Law Library Project. Interns are also expected to devote time for other tasks which include answering the phone, helping with the organisation of events and running other little errands as the need may be.

AFLA gets many applications for internships and only well-qualified, highly-motivated applicants who have demonstrated the most active engagement on human rights and International Law-related issues are selected.

To apply for internship, please send a motivation letter and CV to info@africalegalaid.org
